The library鈥檚 collection includes over 150,000 physical books, 114,000 electronic books, 15,000 online and print periodicals and 21,000 audiovisual resources available online and in house. The library provides access to more than 60 online databases, where most electronic resources can be found. You can also check out a number of anatomical and chemistry models, as well as laptop computers, calculators, phone chargers, headphones, staplers, and more.

Search for books, audiovisual materials and reserve materials available in the library鈥檚 physical and online holdings. 

Find articles from newspapers, magazines and scholarly, peer-reviewed journals, and get access to eBooks and online audiovisual materials. From off-campus sites, students, faculty and staff can use their My91色情片 login to access these resources. Patrons who are not currently affiliated with 91色情片 can enter the barcode number from the back of their Truxal Library card.

How to borrow and return

91色情片 students, faculty, and staff; faculty and students from other colleges; and county residents and workers age 16 and older may borrow materials from Truxal Library. An 91色情片 photo ID may be used as a library card, or a Truxal Library card can be obtained at the circulation desk. Those under age 16 can be issued a Truxal Library card with parental permission.

Borrow items from another library

Truxal Library can from other libraries for your use. This service is called Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and is usually free of charge. 91色情片 students, faculty and staff use their 91色情片 login details to access our new ILL portal. Community users should contact the ILL office at ILLRequest@aacc.edu to get an account set up in our new ILL portal. 

After you submit your ILL request, allow 10 business days for the materials to arrive. The library will contact you to pick up your materials. Articles sometimes are received in electronic form and can be emailed to you. Circulation periods for books borrowed from other libraries are determined by the lending library.

For distance learners

The Library seeks to fulfill its mission by supporting students who are taking classes at a distance. Distance learners are students enrolled in online or hybrid classes, as well as classes at other 91色情片 locations (Arundel Mills, GBTC, HCAT, or any other non-Arnold site).

User obligations and privacy expectations

Protecting the rights of users to view and read materials without fear of intrusion, intimidation or reprisal is a core value for libraries, and Truxal Library protects the privacy and confidentiality of its users in a number of ways. Confidential records include, but are not limited to: circulation records, interlibrary loan requests, registration records, reference requests, and catalog, database and internet searches. Acceptable uses of 91色情片 computers are explained in the college鈥檚 College-wide Policies.

Library circulation records and other records identifying the names of library users are confidential and are prohibited from inspection, use, or disclosure, in accordance with Maryland law (Annotated Code of Maryland, Education Article Section 23-107). Such records shall not be made available except pursuant to a lawful court order, search warrant, or subpoena. Requests for confidential library circulation records from a federal, state or local enforcement agency shall be referred to the Library Director.

Library users are expected to be reasonably quiet and to refrain from cell phone use, smoking and using other tobacco products in the library.

Individuals who steal or damage books, audiovisual materials, or other library property may lose their library privileges and be legally prosecuted on misdemeanor charges according to Article ED section 23-408 of the Annotated Code of Maryland. Users may be required to show all books in their possession to staff as they leave the library.
